A fascinating tour that will introduce you to the history of Stirling with its famous Castle and the natural beauty of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

We’ll stop in Balloch, the gateway to Loch Lomond, where there is time for lunch and a stroll along the “bonnie, bonnie” banks. For the very best views why not take to the water on an optional cruise?* Glengoyne has been described as Scotland’s most beautiful distillery – and rightly so. Nestled below the picturesque Campsie hills, this traditional, hard-working distillery has been producing a unique selection of award winning Highland Single Malt whiskies since 1833. We can enjoy a guided behind-the-scenes tour* followed by a “wee dram”! Proceed back to the hotel.

Start your day with a healthy Breakfast at your hotel. Your tour passes through magnificent Glencoe, scene of the clan massacre of the MacDonalds by the Campbells in 1692, and on through Fort William, the beginning of the Great Glen and the Caledonian canal, which you follow up to Fort Augustus, nestling on the banks of Loch Ness. Here you can enjoy your lunch, a boat trip (optional, from Easter to December, subject to availability) or take a stroll along the lochside with spectacular views of the loch. Loch Ness is a large and deep lake in the Scottish Highlands. It is well known for sightings of the Loch Ness Monster. The waters of this lake offer very low visibility due to the presence of a high quantity of peat coming from the soil of the surrounding area; a phenomenon common to other lakes in Scotland.
